Borders District Scouts are part of the largest mixed volunteer-led Movement for young people in Scotland. Collectively, we offer fun, challenge and life changing adventure to almost 40,000 girls and boys in Scotland, who are supported by over 8,000 adult volunteers.
Locally, around 1000 young people and 400 volunteers enjoy regular scouting activities through our 14 groups spread across the Scottish Borders.
Scouting exists to make young people’s lives better, helping them to realise their full potential, and providing them with #SkillsForLife. We give young people and adults unforgettable experiences and life-changing opportunities, regardless of background, ability, gender or sexuality.
